INVESTIGATED BUT NOT DUG The Forum occupies the northern part of the "Plan of Civita" ( the valley at the center of the three hills). 144,58 m long and 43,50 m wide it has a size greater than that of Pompei's one. At the north end of the Forum was located the Comitium a square structure of m. 20 x 20 side. The hole was paved with marble and certainly adorned with statues and columns that embellished and magnified the grandeur of Rome.
